ISBRA 2026 Travel Grant

We are pleased to announce the Travel Grant Program for students and junior scientists attending ISBRA 2026 to be held in Macao, China, from July 22-24, 2026. Recipient will get 3 (three) nights of standard twin room at a local four/five-star hotel (The room to be shared with another student). Students and junior scientists are eligible to apply, but preference will be given to students and postdocs having accepted paper as the first author.

Application Procedure

Step 1: Application Submission

Applicants must submit the following documents via email to isbra2026.local@gmail.com before April 30, 2026, 23:59 GMT+8 (Beijing Time):

• Whether any other sources of support are available to the applicant
• A case for support, including reasons why ISBRA 2026 should award the grant to the applicant
• A letter of support (for students only) from the applicant’s advisor/head of department

Step 2: Decision Notification

Decisions will be announced before the Early Registration Deadline: May 31, 2026, AoE.
Priority will be given to applicants with: - Accepted technical papers, or
- Active participation in the conference in some capacity

Step 3: Confirmation and Deposit

Upon receiving a successful notification, a deposit of HKD 2,000 is required to confirm eligibility for the travel grant.

• The deposit will be refunded only if the recipient signs in and signs out at the conference venue for 2 days during the conference.
• Refund requests under other circumstances will not be accepted.

This measure ensures that conference benefits are provided to participants who truly need them.
